Hi Y'all,
I set up on that Wednesday with Tom N. and Scott D. Thursday was very busy with lots of interest in our products. Friday and Saturday was pretty steady with all sorts of questions about ethanol problems. I learned a lot by listening to Tom B. and Tom N. on the new products and how they work. I always learn a lot when one of the sales or marketing people is there. The booth was very nice and the questions were many.
STA-BIL
With all of the dealers at the show the STA-BIL brands and ethanol was the main subject. Like most shows everyone wanted to know the difference between the regular STA-BIL and the Marine Formula but with the new Ethanol treatment there was a lot of questions about it. The STA-BIL for Diesels was also a big topic of conversation with many questions about where it’s sold and the difference between it and the regular STA-BIL. We had many dealers say they were replacing carburetors instead of trying to fix them as they are so corroded.
HEET
Many were asking about a water remover and we talked about how the Iso-HEET brand would not only remove water but that it’s a great cleaner and of course a gas line antifreeze.
NO LEAK
I had a few questions on how the NO LEAK brand prevents leaks. We talked about how NO LEAK swells the gaskets and makes the rubber seals and o-rings soft so they work like they should.
ALUMASEAL
A couple of guys didn’t know that the AlumAseal brand was made by STA-BIL or Gold Eagle.
104+ Performance Additives
There were a few questions on additives to help with pinging and getting their fuel to perform like it used to before ethanol. We talked about how the 104+ Octane Boost® would help with the fuel mileage and the performance of their fuel.
DIESELPOWER!
Along with the STA-BIL for Diesel the DieselPower! brand was discussed about how it will help their fuel with many talking about algae. Many are concerned about their fuel breaking down and creating algae and also having enough lubrication.
Start Your Engines!
The Start Your Engines! Brand had lots of interest with many saying they had used it and it works great. Others wanted to know how it works and how much it cost. We were telling dealers that Rotary handled it along with many hardware stores and Wal-Mart.
* Thanks to Tom Novacek and Scott Dodson for helping to set up and to Tom Bingham for helping to tear down. Also thanks to Chuck and Deb Miller for helping me out.
Even though the show might be getting a little smaller the traffic seamed to be larger than last year. A very good show.
Please reply with any comments/questions.
Until next time!
